Responsibilities:
- Fulfill responsibilities of a Radiation Safety Officer per 10CFR34.
- Conduct formal training for Level I/II employees.
- Prepare and update NDE procedures.
- Provide technical support to Level I/II personnel and recommend equipment that can improve NDE processes.
- Resolve NDE-related issues with customers.
- Maintain communication with operational departments.
- Must meet 10CFR34 requirements for Radiation Safety Officer.
- Level III certification in UT and LT preferred.
- Current IRRSP card with a minimum of 2,000 hours of isotope experience.
- NDE experience, including SNT-TC-1A Level III certification in MT, PT, VT, and RT.
