Mechanical Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply advanced skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 11 years of experience with design and modeling of heating, ventilation, and air c ond itioning, and power design and engineering for facilities
• Experience with industrial or facility reverse engineering, and vulnerability assessment or analysis
• Experience with engineering research, capab ility or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and facility assessments
• Experience with performing engineering duties in analyzing and characterizing all-source information regarding mechanically functioning equipment such as engines and machines
• Experience with complex mechanical design and project management
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics
• Professional Engineering Certification
  
  

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
