Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to design, develop, and lead high-performing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in modern Java technologies along with proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications using Java technologies
- Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of developers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture and requirements
- Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure application performance, security, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards
- Strong experience with Java (8/11/17 ) and Spring Boot
- Expertise in Microservices Architecture
- Experience with REST APIs and Web Services
- Hands-on with Hibernate / JPA
- Experience with Kafka / Messaging systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of React / Angular (nice to have)
- Exposure to DevOps practices
- Prior experience in a Lead or Architect role
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10 years of IT experience with at least 2 3 years in a leadership role
- Local to New Jersey candidates only
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required
- Immediate or quick joiners preferred
