Primary Responsibilities

• Lead other Quality Engineers with duties performed in electronics environment.
• Responsible for maintaining processes.
• Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
• Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization
• Review and sign timecards for accuracy.
• Inspect components and assembled parts IAW drawings.
• Review and approve assembly instructions.
• Approve Procurement requisitions.
• Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
• Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.
• Perform environmental testing and analysis of electrical boards and components.
• Complete FAI review and conduct source inspection at approved Supplier locations.
• Report Supplier "notice of changes" to Management.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must have BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. In lieo of a degree and High School Diploma/GED with 15 years of experience will be considered
• Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
• Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
• Must have experience with electrical test environment and test equipment in the Hypersonic program.
• Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Must have IPC 610/620 or J standard certification.
• Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
• Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality source inspections.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Previous auditing experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
