Our esteemed client is seeking a Lead Analyst of Data Analytics who will be an outstanding addition to the Product & Tech Analytics Experimentation team to support out Quality of Experience Analytics practice. The team partners with other teams across the business to turn data into information, information into insights and insights into key business decisions that steer the strategic direction of the company.

You will design innovative analytic approaches to test hypotheses, extract actionable insights by identifying patterns in structured and unstructured data, and develop recommendations to drive business performance. You will be instrumental in leading the use of analytics as a critical value driver across our organization.
Core Responsibilities:
The responsibilities emphasized were:
Designing and evaluating A/B experiments
Applying statistical methods, including:
Hypothesis testing o Statistical significance
P-values
Performing deep exploratory and root cause analysis
Working directly with large-scale engagement and subscription data
Acting as a bridge between technical analysis and business insights
Presenting findings to:
Product managers
Engineers
Other stakeholders
Dashboarding was described as secondary; the work is primarily hands-on analysis and experimentation, not BI reporting.
Required And Preferred Skill Sets Required / Core Skills
Advanced SQL (described as the most prominent daily skill)
Python, including:
Data manipulation (e.g., pandas, Spark)
Exploratory data analysis
Supporting automation pipelines
Strong statistics background (data science light)
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Comfort working with messy, large datasets
Ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
Preferred / Nice-to-Have :
Experience with:
Snowflake
Databricks
Familiarity with experimentation in:
Ads platforms
Subscription or engagement-based services
Industry background:
Media & entertainment is helpful but not required
Telecom or other subscription-based industries were explicitly mentioned as transferable Explicitly Not Required
Deep expertise in visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy)
Formal people management experience Seniority and Experience Expectations
