  • 3 years of experience with standard medical terminologies (ICD-9/10, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC, CPT)
  • Working knowledge of UMLS and familiarity with NCI Metathesaurus (NCIm)
  • Experience with clinical ontology / terminology modeling
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare data (EHRs, lab systems, claims data)
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools
  • Familiarity with Semantic Web technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL)
  • Understanding of interoperability standards (HL7 / FHIR)

Nice to Have:

  • Clinical background (RN, NP, PA, etc.)
  • Experience with OMOP Common Data Model
  • Participation in OHDSI or AMIA
