Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of building automation systems (BAS) based on project specifications and requirements.
- Provide expert guidance to the engineering team on the installation, programming, and commissioning of BAS controls.
- Generate controls submittals and supervise programming of systems.
- Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and timeline
- Provide technical training and support to team members and clients on the use and maintenance of control systems.
- Keep abreast of latest trends and advancements in the field of building automation and control systems.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configuration details, and operational manuals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing building automation systems (BAS).
- Proven expertise with Tridium Niagara platform.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications related to BAS controls, including AutoCAD, MS Project, and others.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to building automation systems.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of building automation and control systems.
