Requirements

We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead / Solution Architect to lead backend architecture and solution design The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Java, Python/Pyspark, AWS, and microservices architecture, coupled with deep domain experience in the mortgage industry.

• Lead design and implementation of scalable microservice-based backend architectures.
• Define and enforce solution architecture and security architecture patterns across platforms.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to design and optimize data architecture and integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Evaluate new technologies and drive modernization efforts within the backend ecosystem.

• 10 years of progressive backend engineering and architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
• Java Spring Boot
• Python/PySpark
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• AWS cloud services
• Proven experience designing microservices and data-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of security design patterns and compliance considerations.
• Prior experience within the mortgage, financial services, or housing industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

• Experience leading multi-pod Agile teams in a complex enterprise environment.
