We are seeking an experienced Lead Audio/Visual Technician to step into a lead role supporting a growing portfolio of commercial installation projects. This individual will serve as the go-to resource on job sites, helping guide a small team while ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to high standards.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can contribute immediately—balancing technical execution with team leadership.

This individual will serve as the go-to resource on job sites, helping guide a small team while ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to high standards.

Work Model:
- On-Site, working at client locations
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday - Friday
- Local travel required; optional out-of-state project travel
- Lead and support the installation of commercial audio/visual systems across client sites
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain AV equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Partner with project managers and estimators to execute custom installations
- Provide direction and support to a team of technicians on-site (approximately 4 team members)
- Handle cable pulling, device installation, and system setup (fiber, low-voltage, structured cabling)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- 3 years of commercial AV installation experience
- Strong understanding of low-voltage systems (50V or less) and electrical fundamentals
- Experience with cabling, fiber, and commercial installation environments
- Ability to work independently, follow directions, and lead by example in the field
- Comfortable with physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working on-site)
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with Crestron or Extron systems/programming (preferred)
- CTS certification (not required to start, but required to obtain within the first 3 months — employer-sponsored)
- Background in a data/telecom electrical apprenticeship (JATC/IBEW) or similar vocational training (preferred)
