As a LAN Analyst you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team on complex network projects. You will also utilize your technical skillset and business understanding to help solve critical business problems.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues and replace defective components as needed
- Respond as needed to support requests that relate to LAN development and support
- Provide off-shift support for critical incidents. Team members rotate through an on-call schedule, requiring occasional off-shift and weekend support calls
- Work directly, as needed, with business partners and vendors with integration of infrastructure
- Design and implement processes and process improvements to aid in development and support
- Follow ITSM process and documentation for all changes
- Collaborate with other technical teams as needed to plan and execute changes (i.e., firewall, VPN, wireless, NAC, etc.)
- Advise business partners regarding technical questions/issues in the LAN space
