Overview:
We are seeking a Level 1/Level 2 Field Support Technician with foundational networking experience to support on-site network deployment and operations. This role will work closely with a full-time network engineering team and will focus on hands-on support for network infrastructure, including switches and wireless access points.
The Technician will not be working independently and will always be supported by senior team members. This position is ideal for someone with entry-to-intermediate networking skills who is comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment and is eager to gain experience supporting enterprise network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site field support for network infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers
- Network switches
- Wireless access points
- Related cabling and hardware components
- Perform basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues (wired and wireless)
- Replace or swap faulty network components as directed
- Support day-to-day network operations and maintenance activities
- Assist with equipment staging, rack-and-stack, and physical network setup
- Verify connectivity, link status, and basic network functionality post-installation
- Follow documented procedures and escalation processes
- Collaborate with full-time team members to support ongoing network projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Document work performed, issues identified, and resolutions when required
- Entry-level certifications such as: CCNA (or coursework toward CCNA)
- Foundational (L1) networking knowledge, including: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, and wireless concepts; Familiarity with network cabling and hardware
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with Cisco and/or Aruba networking equipment
- Ability to assist with configuration and troubleshooting of: Network switches; Wireless access points
- Comfortable working in a field/on-site environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
- Prior experience in a field support, desktop support, or network support role
- Exposure to enterprise or large-scale network environments
- Aruba networking familiarity
- Experience supporting network deployments or refresh projects
This role is well-suited for a technician who:
- Has basic to intermediate networking skills
