Responsibilities
- Work on Platform as a Service (PaaS) for a submarine combat system infrastructure team.
- Create innovative product solutions that meet customer requirements while achieving company financial and business objectives.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team including hardware, software, and cyber-security experts.
- Communicate software solutions and designs to medium and large teams of software engineers.
- Manage infrastructure ecosystem PaaS, troubleshoot issues
- Evolve system design with attention to detail, resource allocation, and a holistic approach.
- Resolve complex issues and conduct research spikes.
- Contribute to PaaS product vision and agile team management.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field such as Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 2 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of job-related experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including building and deploying it to systems.
- Agile or SCRUM experience.
- Past leadership experience or readiness for leadership.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
- Experience with tools such as Ansible, Python, Linux.
- Experience in creating and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to present effectively to internal and external audiences.
- Strong knowledge of technology trends and ability to champion new ideas, products, and process improvements.
- Ability to handle complex assignments and work through challenging problems with stakeholders.
- Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Experience in development for Real Time Operating Systems.
