Junior Linux / Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ
Onsite: 5 days a week in a data center environment
This is a hands-on role for an early-career engineer who wants real infrastructure experience, not a ticket-closing desk job. You’ll be working alongside senior engineers in a live data center environment, learning how systems and networks actually run at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and maintaining Linux systems in a production data center
- Assisting with server builds, deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Working closely with senior Linux and network engineers on day-to-day operations
- Monitoring system performance, capacity, and availability
- Learning how enterprise infrastructure really works, from rack to OS to network
- Less than 5 years of experience in Linux engineering, systems administration, or networking
- Hands-on experience with Linux (any major distro is fine)
- OR foundational networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, etc.)
- Strong interest in infrastructure, systems, and data center environments
- Comfortable being onsite 5 days a week in Princeton, NJ
- Curious, reliable, and eager to learn from people who know their stuff
- Basic scripting experience (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Exposure to hardware, virtualization, or storage
- Any data center, NOC, or lab environment experience
- Real hands-on infrastructure experience early in your career
- Direct mentorship from experienced engineers
- A strong foundation for a future in Linux, networking, or platform engineering
