Junior GIS Analyst (Hybrid)
Primary Location: Chicago, Illinois
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Junior GIS Analyst for our premier client in Chicago, Illinois.
Education And Experience »
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Environmental Science, Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a closely related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using Esri suite of GIS software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and enterprise geodatabases.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining Esri Dashboards, Experience Builder, Survey123, and Field Maps applications.
- VertiGIS Experience Preferred.
- Aviation related GIS experience is preferred.
- Experience with spatial data management, spatial analysis technologies, process design and modeling, server and web GIS technologies.
- Programming or scripting with Python and Arcade.
- Ability to translate business requirements into a GIS design.
- Skilled in the conversion of spatial data into digitized formats utilizing current GIS technologies.
- Detail oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and develop new Esri and Microsoft solutions to improve the existing Airfield Management Operation System (AMOS).
- Participate in collaborative design sessions with the client to determine development needs.
- Develop complex applications with Esri Dashboards, Experience Builder, and other ArcGIS Enterprise tools.
- Develop QA procedures to ensure applications work as intended on a 24/7/365 basis.
- Work with end users to validate application design.
