What You Will Do
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of JEE software applications
- Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and refine solutions
- Use modern software engineering tools and frameworks such as Eclipse, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence)
- Contribute to Agile development practices including sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure quality and maintainability
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 5 years of experience; Master's Degree and 0 to 3 years of experience; 8 to 10 years with no degree
- Foundational knowledge of Java and JEE technologies
- Basic front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with XML/JSON
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Angular, or React (academic or project experience counts)
- Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL queries
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts
- Interest in learning Agile development practices and modern DevOps tools
- Project-based experience developing applications using Java/JEE
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Tomcat, or similar frameworks/servers
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- A passion for continuous learning, problem-solving, and working collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
