This position requires a strong server-side Java developer with messaging-based architecture experience, along with the ability to lead a small team of developers and manage deliverables.

This position requires a strong server-side Java developer with messaging-based architecture experience, along with the ability to lead a small team of developers and manage deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of hands-on Java development, primarily focused on server-side systems
- Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Apache Camel, and XML
- Experience building messaging-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with message queue technologies, including:
- Kafka
- JMS
- ActiveMQ
- IBM MQ
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as:
- SQL Server
- Sybase
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including:
- Jenkins
- Git
- SonarQube
- Proven experience leading small-to-medium development teams, mentoring developers, and managing delivery timelines
- Experience in Fixed Income or derivatives trading systems
- Knowledge of financial products including IRD, FX, or CRD
- Experience working with regulatory reporting systems
- Exposure to collateral management processes
- Experience with Murex is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative team player
- Demonstrated ownership and leadership mindset
