- 8 years of experience in Java development
- Strong experience with both legacy and modern Java versions (Java 6 through Java 17)
- Hands-on experience with Apache Struts (legacy and newer versions)
- Proficiency in Jasper Reports for reporting solutions
- Strong experience with Maven for build and dependency management
- Experience working with legacy system modernization and code refactoring
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Experience with application debugging, performance tuning, and optimization
- Experience in government or public sector projects
- Familiarity with application migration and modernization strategies
- Experience working with large, aging codebases and complex architectures
- Knowledge of modern frameworks (Spring Boot, REST APIs) is a plus
