Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage microservices-based architectures
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Work with AWS services, especially ECS and EMR
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka
- Handle large-scale data using NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred)
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product)
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (8 ) and Spring Boot
- Solid experience with AWS (ECS, EMR required)
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cassandra or similar)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Good understanding of distributed systems and backend design patterns
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Exposure to Apache Spark
- Local candidates only (Plano, TX or nearby)
- Must be comfortable working on W2
- Strong communication and ownership mindset expected
