Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at a leading hospice facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This position involves providing on-site technical support while delivering exceptional customer service in a challenging and sensitive environment. As a Contract to permanent position, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 troubleshooting for Windows-based systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange.
Offer technical support for mobile devices, including Android and iPads.
Assist with onboarding 20-30 new team members per month, ensuring smooth setup of workstations and access to necessary systems.
Handle online troubleshooting requests from remote staff, resolving technical issues efficiently.
Set up and maintain workstations and networking equipment to ensure seamless operation.
Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies to support facility operations.
Deliver exceptional customer service while working with individuals in a high-stress healthcare environment.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and system configurations.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a related role.
Proficiency in working with Dell Technologies and Microsoft Windows systems.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Office 365.
Familiarity with mobile device support, including Android and iPads.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work empathetically in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of deskside support and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory and onboarding processes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
