Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday Financials projects (implementation, enhancement, integration)
- Manage modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)
- Asset Management
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Banking & Settlements
- Financial Reporting
- Partner with Finance & Procurement leadership to align system design with business needs
- Drive business process optimization across:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Supplier onboarding & spend controls
- Coordinate with:
- Workday functional teams
- Integration teams (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors)
- Third-party vendors & internal SMEs
- Oversee:
- Data conversion & validation
- Integration readiness
- Testing cycles (SIT/UAT)
- Cutover & production deployment
- Manage project timelines, risks, scope, and stakeholder communication
- Bachelor s degree in a related field
- PMP Certification (Mandatory)
- 5 years of IT Project Management experience
- 3 years of Workday Financials experience
- Strong experience in ERP implementations
- Solid understanding of:
- Accounting & procurement processes
- Financial reporting structures
- ERP integrations
- MS Project, MS Visio
- SharePoint, MS Office 365
- MS Teams
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- State government project experience
- Vendor-managed project coordination
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Workday Financial Management
- Workday Procurement
