A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking to bring on a senior IT Project Manager to be based in Rosemead, CA. The position is Hybrid (Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite). The contract duration is 18 months with possible extension. *W2 and local only.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full technology workstream, including coordination across product vendors, service vendors, and internal business partners. The role requires developing and maintaining a comprehensive project plan in Microsoft Project, as well as coordinating and managing progress across multiple teams and technology domains. Providing Weekly Status reports at regular intervals to both Operational team and to Management
Additionally, the Project Manager must be able to quickly adapt and effectively coordinate activities related to Service Transition Planning & Support, as well as the Quality Design and Architecture Review Team processes. Required Skills/Attributes:
IT Project Management Skills, Process Management, Familiarity with processes, 7-12 years of experience. Desired Skills/Attributes:
Very Good communication, Proactiveness and Ability to work independently
Education/Experience: Associate Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience; possesses seven to ten years of experience.
