Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience in NextGen EMR systems and healthcare IT operations.
- Proficiency in Mirth Connect for lab system integration and medical data interoperability.
- Experience with HL7 messaging and FHIR standards for clinical data transfer.
- Experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) build, testing, and go-live deployment phases.
- Experience with PACS, Pharmacy Information Systems, and Lab Information Systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting EMR root causes and documenting medical provider workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the enterprise Electronic Health Record platform.
- Build and optimize Mirth-based interfaces to ensure seamless interoperability between clinical systems.
- Troubleshoot and provide root cause analysis for complex EMR application and database issues.
- Manage health IT infrastructure including templates, reporting modules, and system databases.
- Document current clinical workflows for medical and mental health providers to inform system design.
- Coordinate with technical vendors and clinical staff to execute system testing and go-live activities.
- Generate technical reports and data summaries for management and end-user performance tracking.
