Intune / SCCM Engineer

Oak Brook/Terrace, IL (Hybrid 3 days/week preferred; Remote considered for the right candidate)

3-Month Contract (with possibility of conversion for the right person)

CDW is seeking a hands-on Intune / SCCM Engineer to serve as the primary Intune/SCCM engineering resource for a large device footprint. In this role, you'll drive patching automation, support SCCM image deployment, lead upgrade cycles, and assess existing Intune/SCCM environments-while partnering with a broader engineering team to keep systems running smoothly and improving over time.

Required Skills And Education

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including patch automation and device management
• Solid background in Microsoft SCCM, specifically for imaging and deployment
• Experience managing large-scale environments (5,000 devices)
• Ability to create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and optimization mindset with good communication skills
  
  

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience leading or coordinating Intune/SCCM upgrade cycles in production environments
• Prior ownership experience as the primary Intune/SCCM domain resource
