UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure/Data Migration Senior Project Manager for an onsite role in Brooklyn, NY or within the 5 boroughs to lead large-scale data center migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives. This role requires extensive experience managing complex, multi-phase IT projects, with a strong focus on stakeholder coordination, risk management, and successful delivery of enterprise transformation programs.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing medium- to large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, data center relocations, and multi-phase initiatives
- Proven track record of delivering projects within complex organizational environments
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and enterprise environments
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and enterprise architecture principles
- Familiarity with database platforms such as DB2, Oracle, and MS SQL Server
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate requirements into technical and functional specifications
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive-level communication skills
- Experience with project and portfolio management tools, such as ServiceNow SPM, MS Project, and Jira
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, change control, budgeting, and financial tracking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational, documentation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- PMP certification (or equivalent) preferred
- Define and maintain project scope, objectives, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and manage a comprehensive migration roadmap and project plan, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies
- Engage stakeholders and maintain clear communication channels across all teams and leadership levels
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to address compliance and governance requirements (e.g., OMB, OTI)
- Conduct pre-migration assessments, including inventory of hardware, software, applications, and data assets
- Map system interdependencies and evaluate current versus target environments to support migration planning
- Coordinate execution activities across technical teams, including:
- Infrastructure setup in target environments
- Application migration and validation
- Network configuration and security alignment
- Oversee data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, validation, and continuity
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
- Track progress using project management tools and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and organizational standards
- Facilitate post-migration reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement
- Oversee project closure activities, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to support teams
