Key Responsibilities
- Participate in low to moderately complex Information Security Engineering initiatives and day-to-day activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within Information Security Engineering workflows
- Review, research, and analyze basic to tactical security assignments or challenges
- Evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions for low-to-medium risk deliverables
- Present findings and recommendations to resolve low to moderately complex security issues
- Exercise independent judgment while adhering to established policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Provide security-related information and support to client and internal personnel
- Develop an increasing understanding of enterprise security controls, governance, and regulatory requirements
- 2 years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of:
- Professional work or consulting experience
- Military experience
- Education or formal training in cybersecurity or related fields
- Familiarity with enterprise information security frameworks, controls, or risk management practices
- Experience supporting security operations, engineering, or governance initiatives
- Exposure to compliance or regulatory environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, or large enterprises)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
