We are seeking a high-impact Senior Information Security Engineer to join the Endpoint & Email Security Operations team. This role is responsible for engineering, supporting, and securing an extensive enterprise environment of over 720,000 endpoint hosts alongside corporate email infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in CrowdStrike, FireEye, and Proofpoint to drive threat detection, engineering, and incident response.

responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering & Support: Engineer, maintain, and optimize enterprise endpoint and email security platforms across Windows, macOS, and Linux, focusing heavily on CrowdStrike (EDR), FireEye, and Proofpoint.
• Threat Detection & Incident Response: Lead technical investigations, log correlation, and incident response for moderately complex endpoint and email security events.
• Automation & Integration: Develop automation (via PowerShell/Python) and utilize REST APIs to enhance telemetry, streamline operational efficiency, and integrate security tools.
• Vulnerability & Risk Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments, perform root cause analysis, tune security policies, and collaborate with Threat Intelligence teams to remediate emerging threats.
• Technical Leadership & Docs: Create high-quality engineering artifacts, document security standards, and mentor junior engineers/analysts.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of Information Security Engineering experience.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with CrowdStrike (or equivalent enterprise EDR tools).
• 2 years of experience engineering/supporting Email Security tools (Proofpoint and/or FireEye).
• 2 years of Windows Administration experience.
• 2 years of scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.
• 2 years of SDLC experience.
• 1 year of Splunk (or equivalent SIEM) experience for log analysis.
• Flexibility to support implementations outside of standard business hours.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Strong experience working with REST APIs for security tool integration.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid security environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Active industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, OSCP, or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst).
• Understanding of industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK) and Zero Trust architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
