Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in information security and systems architecture.
• Proficiency in AWS secure cloud-native architectures and infrastructure design.
• Experience with NIST 800-53 and the Texas Cybersecurity Framework.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management and Zero Trust Architecture implementation.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and containerized environment security.
• Experience in Cloud Security Posture Management tools and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design secure-by-default architectures for cloud-native and AI-enabled systems.
• Implement security controls for microservices, APIs, and containerized workloads.
• Perform threat modeling for complex distributed systems and modernization initiatives.
• Lead the integration of security into automated DevSecOps deployment pipelines.
• Configure and manage Cloud Security Posture Management tools across enterprise environments.
• Enforce compliance with state and federal security frameworks and architectures.
• Evaluate computer system capabilities and specifications to determine security feasibility.
