Required Skills:
- General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance
- Ability to support plant startup, manual shutdown, and restart operations
- Strong troubleshooting and equipment installation skills
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn computerized maintenance/work management systems
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements, safety policies, and procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of fire prevention techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Technical, mechanical, or electrical background (formal education or equivalent hands-on experience)
- First Aid training (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Comfortable operating and maintaining tools and equipment such as:
- Hand and power tools
- Electric drills, table saws, skill saws, chain saws
- Hydraulic and pneumatic tools
- Electrical test equipment
- Cranes, forklifts, and pickup trucks
- Ability to work in an industrial, outdoor power generation environment
