- Collaborating with business analysts and project managers to gather requirements and design technical solutions
- Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest process improvements or new solutions.
- 5 years of writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs using established coding standards and best practices
- 5 years of developing and maintaining JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling
- 5 years of designing, developing, and maintaining DB2 databases to support application data needs
- 5 years of writing and maintaining CICS transaction programs to provide online access to mainframe applications
