Role Overview

The Head of AI Strategy & Governance is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide AI vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining robust governance, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance. This role leads the development of AI frameworks, prioritizes high-impact use cases, and establishes guardrails for responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the organization?s AI strategy aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives
• Establish AI governance frameworks, including policies for ethical AI, risk management, compliance, and data privacy
• Partner with executive leadership, product, and technology teams to identify, prioritize, and scale AI/ML use cases
• Build and oversee AI operating models, including model lifecycle management, validation, monitoring, and auditability
• Ensure responsible AI practices including fairness, transparency, explainability, and bias mitigation
• Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive AI adoption and change management
• Monitor evolving AI regulations and ensure organizational compliance
• Define KPIs and success metrics to measure AI value, risk, and performance
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in AI/ML, data strategy, or digital transformation roles
• Proven leadership experience in building AI strategy and governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data ecosystems, and regulatory landscapes
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide initiatives
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
