We are seeking an experienced HCL Solutions Architect to stabilize and optimize our application environment. In this position, you will lead environment configurations, evaluate deployment processes, and perform deep-dive code reviews to ensure long-term system reliability and technical excellence.

Logistics & Process

• Location: Columbus, OH (Local candidates preferred)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid
• Interview Process: Conducted via Microsoft Teams (Webcam)
• Compliance: Must pass a fingerprint background check. Equipment must remain within the United States at all times.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze & Stabilize: Document and optimize dev/test/prod environments, including configurations and dependencies.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate deployment pipelines and implement best practices for efficiency and automation.
• Technical Oversight: Review existing code to identify risks, reduce technical debt, and implement necessary enhancements.
• Knowledge Transfer: Conduct structured sessions to transition technical expertise to internal teams.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex environment-related issues and deployment failures.
  
  

Important Skills & Qualifications

• HCL Expertise: 7 years of hands-on experience with HCL technologies (e.g., VOLT/IRIS, Foundry).
• DevOps & Automation: 7 years of experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment frameworks.
• Modernization: Proven track record in environment modernization or technical remediation initiatives.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of application architecture, integration points, and system dependencies.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable plans for stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
