Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Development Lead - PolicyCenter with strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, configuration, cloud migration, and P&C insurance domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end PolicyCenter implementation and modernization initiatives, including SaaS migration, integrations, configuration, customization, and technical leadership.

The candidate must possess hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire Cloud, GOSU, integrations, and policy administration processes for Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Technical Leadership

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Define solution architecture aligned with Guidewire best practices.
• Review technical designs, code quality, and implementation standards.
  
  

Guidewire PolicyCenter Development

• Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter components.
• Develop and maintain:
• PCFs (Page Configuration Files)
• Business Rules
• Data Models
• GUnits
• Workflows
• Support policy lifecycle management processes.
  
  

Cloud & SaaS Transformation

• Lead Guidewire PolicyCenter SaaS implementation and migration initiatives.
• Assess and migrate on-premise/self-managed PolicyCenter environments to Guidewire Cloud.
• Support cloud-native architecture and deployment practices.
  
  

Integration Development

• Design and implement integrations between PolicyCenter and external systems.
• Integrate with:
• Customer Portals
• Rating Engines
• Billing Systems
• Claims Systems
• Third-Party Insurance Platforms
• Develop and support:
• REST APIs
• Message Queues
• Batch Processes
• Event-driven Integrations
  

Data & Cloud Services

• Utilize Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA) Platform.
• Support data migration, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with enterprise standards.
  
  

Testing & Deployment

• Participate in SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production deployment activities.
• Support release planning, defect resolution, and post-production stabilization.
  
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and delivery teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members.

• 10 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations.
• Experience implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter for Tier-1 US Insurance carriers.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Guidewire PolicyCenter V10
• SaaS Implementation
• On-Premise to SaaS Migration
• Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain expertise.
