Position: Google Cloud Platform Program Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Contract
Weekly 5 days office is Must
Overall experience: 12 15 years
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Program Manager
Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale cloud migration programs, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Experience in the Telecommunications domain with exposure to large, complex environments.
Strong background in cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Proven experience managing complex Google Cloud Platform migration programs, preferably in telecom
Strong understanding of telecom systems: OSS/BSS platforms
Network applications
Good understanding of Google Cloud Platform services and migration tools: Migrate to Virtual Machines
Database Migration Service
Storage Transfer Service
Understanding of Google Cloud Platform architecture and core services, including: Compute Engine Virtual Private Cloud Google Kubernetes Engine
Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies and best practices :Lift-and-shift Re-platforming Re-architecting
Experience with governance, risk management, and compliance in cloud environments
Lead end-to-end Google Cloud Platform cloud migration programs within the telecommunications domain
Drive the full lifecycle of cloud migration:
Planning Execution
Delivery Post-migration stabilization
Define migration strategy, scope, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
Ensure alignment and accountability across all workstreams
Manage project risks, dependencies, and governance frameworks to ensure secure and compliant migrations
Ensure interoperability with legacy telecom systems post-migration and support operational readiness
Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders
