GIS Senior Consultant

Introduction:

As a GIS Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and implementing cloud-enabled GIS solutions. You will work with a team to utilize tools such as ArcGIS and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver high-quality GIS solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your 8-10 years of experience in GIS to provide guidance and expertise on GIS projects
• Work hands-on with ArcGIS (Esri products) to develop and implement GIS solutions
• Utilize AWS services, especially S3, to build and deploy cloud-enabled GIS applications
• Create Python scripts to automate GIS processes and enhance functionality
• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement GIS solutions that meet client requirements
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS applications and systems
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in GIS technology
  
  

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in GIS
• Strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS (Esri products)
• Experience with AWS services, especially S3
• Proficiency in Python scripting
• Experience in building cloud-enabled GIS solutions

• Experience with other cloud computing platforms
• Knowledge of other GIS software and tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• GIS certification or relevant training
