The Client is looking for a GIS Analyst - Project Lead

36 month rebid to assist with data and software migration project
Scope of the project: Migrate Oracle Spatial databased maintained through Geomedia to a SQL database maintained through ESRI Roads and Highways on-premise. This project will include the conversion of the database and a software upgrade.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Produce digital/hard copy maps in advanced GIS/Mapping applications
Perform GIS data collection, maintenance and analysis
Update database tables to reflect changes to the GIS features used in GIS analysis and in mapping as assigned by the supervisor.
Perform quality control on the new and existing data to maintain correctness and spatial accuracy standards
Assist in the development and maintenance of procedure manuals
Completes software/procedures research/testing as assigned by the manager
Performs related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Required Skills (rank in order of Importance): Knowledge and experience working with GIS/Mapping software and applications, Experience working with a spatial database, Microsoft Office, experience with cartography, experience with database design
Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance): Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS Pro, experience with a SQL database, Experience with ArcGIS roads and highways extension
Required Education: Bachelor s degree, Preferred field of study includes Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or Physical Science
Required Certifications: None
