This position is for an experienced Software Engineer with either professional or personal project experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI. The position will be part of the Applied Research and Technology (ART) Aerospace Technologies Team designing and developing the next-generation avionics systems of the future.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.

- Strong software development experience and skills
- Proficient in Unix/Linux and Full Stack Development
- Proven execution skills in the development of complex systems
- Ability to communicate clearly to large audiences
- Passion or Experience in AI/ML or Generative AI
- Understanding of the fundamentals of AI/ML through research or practice
- AI/MI/GenAI - minimum 2 years of experience
- Python - 3 years of experience
- Develop, design and conclude experiments to accelerate business capabilities in Generative AI for safety-critical development
- Strong software development experience and skills
- Proficient in Unix/Linux
- Proficient in Python
- Proficient in Full Stack Development
- Proven execution skills in the development of complex systems
- Ability to communicate clearly to large audiences
- Understanding of the fundamentals of AI/ML through research or practice
- Experience in deploying Generative AI powered applications
- Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) development frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Haystack)
