Workforce Services is seeking a Senior Angular Web Developer for an immediate contract opportunity on the Core Web Team.

The team is responsible for developing, supporting, modernizing, and maintaining internal and public-facing web applications . This role will contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, including migration from AngularJS to Angular 21, within a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of IT experience
• Strong experience in modern web development technologies
• Hands-on experience with:
• Angular / AngularJS development
• Bootstrap 4 responsive design
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), focusing on high code coverage and integration testing
• Experience building accessible web applications aligned with WCAG guidelines
• Experience designing applications compatible with screen readers
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including:
• Sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups
• Tools: Jira, Confluence
• Experience working on both new development and existing applications
• Proficiency with:
• GitHub
• GitFlow / Pull Request model
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Required Skills:

• Web UI development using Angular or AngularJS
• Bootstrap 4 responsive UI design
• Writing effective end-to-end (E2E) tests for Angular applications
• Strong understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and best practices
• TDD with emphasis on integration testing and code quality
• Agile development practices (Scrum)
• Version control using GitHub and GitFlow workflows

• Experience with Agentic AI development tools (Copilot, Gemini, Claude)
