Overview
We are seeking a Senior FPGA/ASIC Design or Verification Engineer to support advanced digital hardware development activities for critical system applications. This role includes VHDL design, SystemVerilog/UVM verification, integration and debug of custom FPGA/ASIC devices, and working with modern tool flows from leading semiconductor vendors.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team developing high-performance digital processing solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least one of the following:
- FPGA/ASIC digital design using VHDL
- FPGA/ASIC verification using SystemVerilog with UVM
- Hands-on experience with one or more:
- Xilinx FPGA devices and tool flows
- Microsemi FPGA devices and tool flows
- Experience delivering FPGA/ASIC solutions into system-level applications
- Hands-on experience with integration and debugging of FPGA/ASIC hardware
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (must be active prior to start)
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- FPGA development experience in one or more advanced technical domains:
- Radar signal processing
- Image processing for visual/infrared sensors
- Embedded processor integration (ARM, MicroBlaze, Nios)
- High-speed serial interfaces, Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit Transceivers (MGTs)
- Verification experience including:
- Constrained-random verification in SystemVerilog UVM
- Emulation platforms such as Veloce
- Experience with digital hardware integration into complex systems
- Strong understanding of timing closure, resource management, and design optimization
- Ability to support multiple projects, balance priorities, and work within cross-disciplinary design teams
- Highly collaborative on-site engineering environment
- Close coordination with digital design, systems, software, and test teams
- Hands-on hardware lab and integration activities required
