About The Role

What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance, IQ/OQ validations, troubleshooting, and repairs on laboratory instruments.
- Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide technical training and support to customers via onsite visits, email, and phone.
- Complete and submit IQ/OQ documentation accurately and in compliance with SOPs.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics; perform system interconnections.
- Manage travel schedules efficiently and submit expense reports promptly.
- Build strong customer relationships and promote preventive maintenance agreements.
- Provide after-hours phone support on a rotating basis.
- Working with Density Meters, Refractometers, Polarimeters, Saccharimeters, and Automation solutions.
- Technical degree or certification in electronics (Analog/Digital Circuits a plus) or equivalent experience.
- Background in calibration, validation, or QC of analytical instrumentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
- Skilled in using hand tools, including digital multimeters.
- Proficient in reading wiring schematics and using MS Office.
- 2 years of field service experience with proven ability to travel extensively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Enjoy the chance to travel nationwide, meet diverse clients, and work on advanced instrumentation in various settings.
- 75-90% travel across the continental U.S., including overnight stays.
- Comfortable with airports and air travel.
- Lift up to 40 lbs. individually or 80 lbs. with assistance.
- Stand for 2-6 hours per day.
- Drive up to 6 hours to appointments.
