Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the application of our steel products, ensuring that they meet customer needs and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with the R&D team to innovate and develop new steel products.
• Leverage your knowledge of ingot, steel, and refractory materials to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Assist the sales and marketing team in technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Conduct in-depth product training for sales teams, customers, and partners to ensure a thorough understanding of our products.
• Manage and resolve CCAR incidents, ensuring that all issues are handled promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling product positioning and messaging.
• Act as a liaison between the manufacturing, R&D, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring a seamless flow of information and ideas.
• Continually stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to inform product development and sales strategies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in the steel manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with tundish steel is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CCAR incidents and how to manage and resolve them effectively.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with colleagues from a range of disciplines.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market.
• Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support sales and marketing efforts.
