AVA Consulting is seeking an ETL/ Informatica Developer

Location: Bloomington, IL or Remote (EST/CST Time Zone)

Description:

  • Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
  • Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
  • Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews.
  • Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.

Requirement:

  • Experience developing with Informatica PowerCenter, designing and developing Informatica workflows for enterprise system(s), deployment of Informatica to production environment, and writing scripts to manage/move/schedule files in accordance to Informatica integration.
  • 5 years of experience working in a medium or large operating environment supporting Informatica.
  • 4 years of SQL experience (ability to develop, modify, troubleshoot and optimize complex queries and stored procedures).
  • Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modeling and data mapping design, integration, migration and warehousing.
  • Design and Implementation of ETL solutions with effective design and optimized performance, ETL Development with industry standard recommendations for jobs recovery, fail over, logging, alerting mechanisms.
  • Preferred development background with Java, J2EE, Database building, SQL scripting and Management: DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Mapping and Workflow Tools.
  • Preferred experiencing developing with Azure Data Factory.
  • Previous experience in the banking and insurance industry preferred.
