You'll assist with digging, conduit installation, vegetation control, and general site preparation while learning industry tools, equipment, and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate basic and skilled equipment to support field construction tasks
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Complete manual labor duties including digging, trenching, and ground preparation
- Lay conduit according to project specifications and safety standards
- Perform weed eating, trimming, and vegetation management around work sites
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training
- Work under the direction of a Foreman or Crew Lead
- Support the crew with additional tasks to ensure efficient project completion
- Travel to various job sites up to 5 days per week
- General labor experience or willingness to perform physical work
- Interest in telecom, cable, fiber optic, or construction fields
- Ability to learn and use hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to travel
- Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding environments
- Exposure to coax or fiber optic installation
- Experience in construction, utilities, or related trades
- Entry-level; no prior telecom experience required
- Must be self-sufficient, motivated, and eager to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
