Akkodis is seeking an Entry-Level Lab Technician for a Contract job with a client in Alameda, CA. Ideally looking for candidates with strong computer skills and attention to detail to support complaint investigations and documentation.

Rate Range: $28.00/hour to $30.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Entry-Level Lab Technician job responsibilities include:

• Unpack and safely sort returned products by product lines
• Investigate customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors
• Document investigation findings accurately in the Complaint Handling System
• Utilize troubleshooting equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and microscopes
• Perform routine maintenance of quality records and ensure testing equipment is within calibration
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and written work instructions
  
  

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with technical experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong documentation and attention to detail
• Ability to follow SOPs and perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
• Experience in Medical Device or Biotech industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of electronic troubleshooting preferred
• Background in inspection or quality-related roles is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree (entry level candidates preferred, especially in technical/scientific fields)

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
