Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Streamlining: Proactively audit and decommission redundant data flows and legacy ETL processes that no longer align with the evolving business model.
- Hybrid Integration & API Strategy: Direct the use of Boomi for modern connectivity while managing the optimization or sunsetting of traditional on-premise integration points.
- Direct Management of the Integration and Analytics Team: Lead a team of experienced Data, Integration, and Analytics professionals in support of Embrace''s corporate initiatives.
- Data Ecosystem Oversight: Senior-level management of our data storage strategy, balancing high-performance Snowflake environments with legacy SQL Server maintenance.
- Lead the Analytics Center of Practice: Lead the company-wide CoP to standardize data governance, best practices, and self-service analytics models (primarily in Sigma Computing).
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units (Finance, Ops, Sales) to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
- Hands-on Technical Leadership: Maintain "keyboard-level" proficiency in SQL and enterprise architecture to mentor experts and ensure technical integrity.
- 5 Years of Experience: Extensive history in data engineering, enterprise architecture, and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Proven understanding of concepts such as enterprise messaging, loosely coupled integrations, and hub and spoke architecture.
- Center of Practice Leadership: Proven experience defining data standards and facilitating adoption of analytics tools across a diverse organization.
- The "Modern Stack" Expert: Proven track record with modern, cloud first toolsets required. Mastery of Boomi (Integration) and Snowflake (Data Cloud) preferred.
- The "Legacy" Expert: Deep experience with MS SQL Server and traditional BI/ETL platforms required.
- Expert SQL & API Skills: Capability to design real-time pipelines and complex API-first communication patterns. Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts and architectural design in a manner relevant and understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
