The Enterprise Applications Manager is a working manager responsible for leading a small team while serving as the hands-on subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion PLM. This role balances people leadership (approximately 15%) with deep technical and tactical application work (approximately 85%).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Enterprise Applications Analyst team supporting Oracle Fusion PLM and engineering applications (e.g., GitLab, JIRA, SolidWorks, CAD/PDM)
- Serve as the Oracle Fusion PLM SME, providing hands-on configuration, administration, integration, compliance, and extensions
- Develop and execute skill development plans to build team capability and self-sufficiency
- Partner with Engineering and PLM leadership to deliver scalable solutions and support phased PLM deployments
- Oversee engineering application portfolio health, licensing, upgrades, and enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in enterprise applications administration, with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion PLM
- Technical team leadership or supervisory experience
- Hands-on experience managing projects in fast-paced, engineering-focused environments
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as GitLab, JIRA, JAMA, SolidWorks, and licensing models
- Strong leadership, analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
- Oracle Fusion PLM or Configuration & Data Management certifications
