Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring of space flight hardware.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Assist in the manufacturing process, ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
- Work in compliance with NASA standards and regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Collaborate with engineers, other technicians, and team members to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional technical and mechanical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently.
- Must be a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols.
- Soldering experience is required, active J-STD certification is ideal
