Description
SAIC is seeking an ENGINEERING TECH II to support the US Navy on the MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedo Production Team in Bedford, IN.
KEY RESPONSIBITLITES:
- Works closely with engineers to assemble and test MK-48 AB/TC's and Fuel Tank sections.
- Supporting engineers in design, development, and testing of new products and systems.
- Provides technical support across multiple disciplines.
- Identifying and resolving technical problems with equipment, components.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- Associate's degree in related discipline and three (3) years related experience; Or, High School and five (5) years related experience.
- Experience with relevant tools and equipment.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Good communication skills.
- Capable of building and maintaining good customer relationships.
- Must be able to obtain a Full DoD Secret Security Clearance. Can start once interim clearance is granted.
