Job Title: Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ

About The Role

We are seeking a talented Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer with expertise in modelling and simulation of GNC systems. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, verifying, and testing algorithms and software tools for guidance, navigation, and control of aerospace and Defense platforms including aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and launch vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, verify, and validate missile flight simulation models.
• Design and maintain technical documentation including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Interface Requirement Specifications (IRSs), and Interface Description Documents (IDDs).
• Analyze and model hardware components and participate in international partner program meetings.
• Support development of control laws and software requirements for flight systems across various mission phases (launch, orbit, cruise, insertion, staging).
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and 2 years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 1 year of experience, or PhD with no experience required.
• Proficiency in C , MATLAB, and Python.
• Experience with high-performance computing environments.
• Strong background in missile guidance, autopilot algorithms, and 6DOF simulation.
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo data analysis and signal processing.
