Job Description
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Software Engineer in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications. Tasks will involve requirement, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures. The successful candidate will have training in C/C , prior experience in GUI development, experience with Linux OS, and previous intern experience.
Candidates filling this position will need a and will need a clearance at the level specified in "Clearance Level" or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.
Basic Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited university in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related major.
Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.
Desired Skills
Multi-core and multi-threaded C/C programming.
Experience with Operating Systems (OS) such as Linux, Windows, Unix, VxWorks, etc.
Hardware/Software integration.
Working in large code base.
DevSecOps tool chain experience.
Agile/Scrum practices.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
