Job Duties
- Perform inspection, diagnosis, and evaluation of electric motors and associated equipment to determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of both AC and DC motors, ensuring all components meet operational standards.
- Service and repair gearboxes, pumps, and generators, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Execute reassembly and precision testing to verify proper function and performance after repair.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and test results.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Proven experience as an Electrical Mechanic, Motor Technician, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of AC/DC motor operation, industrial electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, megohm meters, and motor-testing equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in disassembly and reassembly of rotating equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment as required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established protocols.
