What You'll Be Doing:
- Design electrical systems for data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings
- Perform design calculations and power system analysis
- Review and stamp/seal projects (as applicable)
- Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and commissioning support
- Develop and edit electrical equipment specifications
- Select electrical systems, components, and devices
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners
- 2 years of electrical engineering design experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- EIT certification preferred
- Experience designing power systems for:
- Data centers
- Commercial buildings
- Industrial or manufacturing facilities
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and building codes
- Experience with:
- Standby/emergency power systems
- Generator controls
- Medium voltage systems (preferred)
- Arc Flash and coordination studies (preferred)
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, BlueBeam
- Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
Additional Details:
- Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Austin, Phoenix, Atlanta, Reno, Grand Rapids, or Las Vegas)
- Travel: Occasional travel to project sites and client locations
- Level: Entry to Mid-Level (Electrical Engineer II)
